Street Lights

If a light’s on/off cycle is very short, the light flickers constantly, or the light never turns on, it is time to report the issue. Complete this Consumers Energy form so the issue can be resolved.

Neighborhood Watch

For non-urgent issues contact the Kent County Sheriff’s Department main line (616) 632-6100 or the Community Outreach officer for Algoma Township, Tyler Tilson (616) 632-6096 or tyler.tilson@kentcountymi.gov

Community Mailbox Unit

The community mailbox unit is not maintained by the post office. It belongs to the neighborhood and is private property. No one at Eastbrook or the Saddle Ridge HOA has a spare copy of your mailbox key, and you cannot ask the postal service to rekey the lock.

If you lose your keys, you need to order a new lock, the “Salsbury Industries 3390 Standard Replacement Lock for F Series Cluster Box Unit Door.” Amazon, Home Depot, Walmart, and others sell a replacement lock with three keys for $18-20.

To get into your locked mailbox, you will need to either schedule an appointment with a postal employee or catch our mail carrier when she’s in the neighborhood. They will open the mailbox and allow you to replace the lock.
